"Concise jangle trio, switching betwixt prancing Smiths-ish swish and frantic Eno-via-'Smells Like Teen Spirit' geek-pop in five extreme short cuts (all of them under two minutes, two under one) on their debut EP." --The Village Voice

"On their self-released EP 'Dwindling Acreage,' The New Fantastics deliver charmingly ragged, sing-alongy indie-rock in tiny doses--each song is under two minutes." --Time Out New York

Shea released his first album under the name Saturn Expedition, while living in Austin, TX from 2000-2002. Shea wrote and recorded the album in his apartment, and released the album on his label Cronus Records.

"...nine tracks of spare, narcoleptic pop...an exercise in airy dream-folk, anchored by Shea's bright vocal tenor." (3 out of 4 stars)  --The Austin Chronicle
